I have seen watches with single AR on the inside and double AR on both sides, like most watches have today...well at least Omega & Breitling. The difference is huge in my opinion. I will take a watch with double AR over single AR any day! Of course you just have to be some what careful when wearing the watch since the outer layer of AR can be scratched. I feel this is more of an issue with Omega's Ar than it is with breitling. Although, Omega just came out with a new type of Ar that is supposedly much more durable and does not have the heavy blue hue to it...more of a clear hue.
